Sarah has been a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors since 2004.

Sarah employs a client centred and trauma informed approach to her work. She earned her Masters in Somatic Psychology from Naropa University, Boulder. CO. USA in 2004. Sarah has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including rural and urban areas, both in Canada, United States, France and the Middle East. She has experience in both the public and private sector, including Vancouver Coastal Health and Doctors Without Borders.

She is informed by the principles of Somatic Psychology, Poly Vagal Theory, Attachment Theory and Psychodynamic Theory. Sarah’s training includes Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Focusing (Felt Sense Poly Vagal Modal), Expressive Arts, Parts work, Mindfulness based interventions, CBT and Solution focused therapies, Emotion Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, Bader Pearson Model and training with Ester Perel. She enjoys working with both Adults and Couples.
